The Council of ACT Motor Clubs’ 37th annual Shannons - Wheels vehicle display will be held on Sunday 1st March 2020 at the Queanbeyan Showgrounds.

The display will be open to the public from 10am to 3pm.

Entry for participants and visitors is by gold coin donation to Cancer Council ACT.

Shannons - Wheels brings together vehicles from more than 90 vehicle clubs around Canberra - including Goulburn, Yass, Cooma, Cootamundra, the South Coast and Central West of NSW – all in an enjoyable one day community event.

The display is expected to showcase from 800 to 1000 vehicles, with exhibits ranging from the early days of motoring in Australia to the very latest vehicles.

The STHARC organising Committee expresses its appreciation for the support provided by the Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council (QPRC) in provision of the Queanbeyan Showgrounds site and facilities.

The Queanbeyan MultiCultural Festival is being held on the same day in Queanbeyan Park.

CCR & VVCMCC are displaying some vintage Indians and Harleys along with other interesting machines as part of a FREE screening of The World's Fastest Indian!
Bike display & outdoor screen is located in the square in front of the post office.

The Display will feature over 160 bikes which is the largest number we have had on display. It includes a beautifully restored 1914 Junior Triumph and a rare 1961 BMW R50S which is one of only 1634 produced. We will also have a collection of 24 Kawasaki 100 Bikes from 1969 to 1988.

7th annual Superheroes ACT Classic Cruise supporting Camp Quality

The route will run from the National Arboretum to the Lake foreshore for a show and shine.

To enter, you need to raise a minimum of $50 per car or $25 for motorcycles. The money raised goes to Camp Quality to support kids and their families who are impacted by cancer.

The 2022 AEHF FX-FJ Nationals is being run by the FX-FJ Car Club of Canberra Inc. in conjunction with the Cooma Monaro Historic Automobile Club Inc. (The Cooma Car Club).
The Show and Shine will be held on Thursday 29th December at the Cooma Showgrounds. This will be the best opportunity to view the vehicles.
Spectators are most welcome.

Wheels vehicle charity display brings together veteran, vintage, historic, classic, and modified cars and bikes as well as modern and electric vehicles from the Canberra region. The event will be held at the Queanbeyan Showground on Sunday 19 February 2023.

This year there will be trophies for the following categories: Vintage & Veteran cars; Historic cars; Vintage, Veteran & Historic bikes; Historic Modified cars; Modern & Electric vehicles.

Entrants are encouraged to register their vehicles online in advance. This will help organisers plan the layout for the more than 700 vehicles expected to attend.

This year’s Monaro Stages Rally will have a significantly different feel than previous years.

Usually scheduled for November, the popular Canberra-based rally has been shifted to late August as event organisers look to run the event to celebrate long-time secretary and event founder Debbie Quirk.
Having been involved with the sport for more than four decades, Quirk has been a highly-respected contributor, which has seen her acknowledged for her work on many occasions – including being the recipient of the prestigious Coral Taylor award.

The Cruise this year will start at the National Arboretum, leaving at 10am then heading out past the incredible Cotter Dam, through picturesque Uriarra on our way back to Questacon for the Show n Shine, a bite to eat and a chat.
To enter you need to raise a minimum of $50 per car or $25 for motorcycles the more you raise the more chance you have of being the lead car or bike for 2023!! Top 10 fundraisers will be recognized on the day.
Cars & buses over 20 years old, car clubs, any age motorcycles, exotic cars, unique and company vehicles are encouraged to enter.
The money raised goes to Camp Quality to support kids and their families who are impacted by cancer, the last couple of years have been very difficult for many of these families. So get your friends and family to support you in this great cause and lets raise much needed funds for these kids and their families.

Shannons Wheels 2024

is the largest annual regional display of heritage motoring by local & regional motoring enthusiasts. Shannons Wheels brings together veteran, vintage, historic, classic, and modified cars and bikes as well as modern and electric vehicles from across the region.

There is no entry fee to attend, but the event is in support of Respite Care for QBN, a local charity. Please donate to this worthy cause.

Exhibitors should enter between 8:00am and 9:30am, and remain in place until 1:30pm - after the award presentations.
Entry to the Showgrounds is via the main gate on Glebe Avenue, where Marshals will direct vehicles to the Arena.
Vehicles EXITing the Showgrounds Arena, are to use the the gate at the eastern end of the Showgrounds complex - leading onto Cooma Street.
The general public (i.e. pedestrians) will be admitted between 10:00am and 1:30pm, so there are to be no vehicle movements within the Arena during this time.
